Detail: Back by popular demand, this seminar will present practical ways to beat the holiday blues, especially for caregivers who may be struggling with sadness, loneliness, health issues or financial problems. This seminar will also feature an interactive geriatric model exercise session utilized in the Loretto family of care that helps promote overall well-being and a positive attitude. Attendees of every age will benefit from this healthy mind and body seminar to help them better manage and enjoy the holiday season. Presenters: Brenda McCutcheon, Loretto corporate director of elder life and spirituality, and Marva Cook, Loretto director of therapeutic recreation. For the third consecutive year, Loretto, Central New York's premier and largest provider of long term care services for older adults, together with Benefit Specialists of New York and Donahue Financial Management Group will host the 2009-2010 Navigating the Road Ahead free mini-seminar series at the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce, located at 572 S. Salina St. in Syracuse, on Thursdays, November 5, April 1 and May 6.
