Have you ever felt the smooth scales on the underbelly of a snake? Did you ever want to see an Iguana up close? Beginning on Thursday, June 11 and on every second Thursday of the month through November 2009, the MOST will host RENDEZVOUS with REPTILES, a live reptile presentation by MAXMAN REPTILE RESCUE from 11am -12pm with a repeat performance from 1pm to 2pm. The dates and topics are as follows: June 11-Rainforest Reptiles;July 9-Vertebrates and Invertebrates;August 13-Reptile Habitats;September 17-Life Cycles of Reptiles;October 15-Adaptations and Evolutions; November 12-Rainforest Reptiles. Enjoy the opportunity meet and to touch live reptiles, such as snakes, lizards and tortoises. Get up close with these animals and learn how they relate to each other and their environment. Learn their characteristics and their important ecological niche. Bring all your reptile questions to ask the experts. Free with museum exhibit admission
